Mac Vs PC… Again

I do enjoy the battles between fans of Macs and PCs.
So you think you can Techno?
This site by Hobnox demonstrates the unbelievable power of flash.
I have a collection of rare (aka not cheap) analog gear, that many a producer use to create electronic music of all sorts from house to electro.
With this site you can have a go at creating your own tracks, all in software and all for free. We have created branded “mix your own track” type sites in the past but this incredible work takes it to the next level.

Check it out here, be patient it takes a little while to load. Hit the play button and if you haven’t played around with software like this before I suggest you zoom in on the silver piece of equipment that has Bassline ( the classic 303) written on it, select some different pattern banks play around with the buttons and tweak away!

Flash Mobbing Frenzy
I didn’t think it would take long for a company to pull off a Flash Mob. Here is T-Mobile’s attempt see what you think.
I really like this Supermarket Freeze Flash mob version. I might try this at Coles tonight.
Maybe ask your friends how fit you look before you partake in this type of Flash Mob.
I know a lot of people may not like the following flash mobs but I just cant resist. Unfortunately this banned Xbox 360 ad never made it to TV.
A real life version of the xbox ad in Poland.
My only suggestion to any flash mob is lose the clapping at the end. If you ever have a chance to be in one remember it is so much cooler if you just walk away.
Top web predictions for 2009
With a turbulent 2008 behind us I thought it would be worthwhile considering what may play out this year and put out some predictions for the web in 2009.

With the state of the global economy having taken centre stage, one can’t ignore the impact this will have across businesses and consumers all around the world.
A friend of mine who was a geologist for many years in the mining industry was recently chatting to me about economic cycles. There have always been growth and consolidation cycles in the economy and like in mining there are times of massive growth and times of contraction. I am somewhat of a contrarian, so am excited about 2009 and as a company we are focusing on driving innovation during this volatile phase.
So on the hunt with innovation in mind, some research into back referencing of cycles and some assumptive stabs in the dark I present you a selection of 9 (10 is so cliché) predictions for 2009!
If you want to try your own hand at voting on predictions check out nostradamical.com
Now onto the list, it will fun scoring these in 2010.
