3 Mobile

Our relationship with 3 has grown over the years and exemplifies our belief in being a "Digital Partner" to our clientele.

This firmly held belief has resulted in our relationship growing to the point where we are now 3's premier and preferred digital agency.

So when we talk about end-to-end solutions we define it and make it happen. Strategy, new thinking, new technologies, new designs, wireframes, more strategy, more ideas, mini sites, revisions, rebuilds, analytics, deep analysis, review, refine, tweak, touch up. One could go on, but in the end their success is our success and by investing our culture in 3’s business, we back ourselves- and our client.

It’s a complex formula, but the result is simple: Success.

HondaMPE

HondaMPE

At Atomic Media, we have a diverse client list, but with HondaMPE we were issued with a complex situation: How to build a local site for a global brand with a diverse range of products?

The Honda Motorcycles brand is well known and highly respected, but combining this with products such as brush cutters, outboard engines and Personal Water Craft presented Honda and Atomic Media with a challenge to build a site that would satisfy all of these departments and more importantly their prospective customers.

A comprehensive scoping phase ensured all departments were involved and consulted with and the resulting site has combined the need for a strong, consistent branding presence with freedoms allowed each department the room to promote their wares in the manner they see fit.

Tennis Australia

Tennis Australia

As this highly popular sport’s peak body, any site developed for Tennis Australia would need to service both fans and players of tennis in Australia.

Using our fully featured content management system Context™ , Tennis Australia have been able to roll out a web presence for over 3500 clubs, all running their own site area, adding their own content and therefore able to have a vibrant web presence where previously they had none.

Further enhancements such as "Find a Club/Coach/Partner" has created a simple path on to the court for first time players and returning players. This widget uses a fully featured mash up of Microsoft Live’s mapping technology, delivering a seamless and useful experience to the end user, and delivers Tennis Australia interested players to their local clubs, coaches and fellow tennis players.

3 Mobile

Well it has been a busy summer, and Atomic Media has had the pleasure of continuing to work with our friends at 3 Mobile on a variety of projects and microsites.

Here are but a few we've done recently: -

3 Business Shared Caps
A great new product that gives small and medium business maximum control over their bills. Once again, working with 3 Mobile, Atomic Media met and exceeded expectations in scope and site build. It's a site we're particularly proud of, so go and have a look.

3 Cricket Shed
The cricket season might be over, but what a season of controversy and intrigue! The Cricket Shed used a pin board style navigation with competitions, live scores and exclusive "brownie points" videos.

Thanks Gilly!
The retirement of Aussie stalwart Adam Gilchrist motivated 3 Mobile to build a site to publicly thank a cricket legend- but could Atomic Media do it in a week? Yes we could. And did.

...and that's not all! We have some other really interesting and comprehensive projects in the pipeline (hey- maybe even in production?!) that we'll look forward to blogging about in the not too distant future.

So, what can we do for you? Ask away!

Tipping Points

In any industry there are moments known as tipping points . Perhaps this is one?

From this article

'For the first time ever Australians are spending more time online than watching TV, according to new research."

This is not only gratifying for our industry, but it also signals a change in the way Australians want their information. Television has been pretty much a passive pastime. You sit, watch, flick around a bit and watch again. It's a matter sometimes of not so much finding something you like, but rather something you can tolerate.

In the web industry there are no such luxuries. This is both a benefit and a challenge. People demand the information they want, the entertainment they want, with no delays and very little tolerance for distractions or time fillers. Deliver what the user wants or they'll be off very quickly. At Atomic Media, we work closely with our partner clients to deliver sites that grab the user's attention and direct them quickly and easily to the content they want. This is not a passive sport, it’s active and mobile and you have to be ready to react.

MODM

Uber geek, first Skype podcaster and web evangelist Cameron Reilly has been at the forefront of the Web 2.0 movement in Australia from before the time Web 2.0 was a cool expression.

Despite the explosion in web services and usage, there is neither a peak body nor Web 2.0 regular get together for industry folk

Until now.

"MODM is the hot new event for Melbourne's Online Digital Media community to socialize and talk about everything that's new in media..."

We at Atomic Media have been regulars since day one (in fact staff member Tom Reynolds orgainsed the first venue!), and we think that an informal, vibrant Web 2.0 movement is one of the best ways to foister fun, competition and a strong industry all round.

It’s also an opportunity for our industry folk to chat, network, discuss and yes, gossip.
